In memory of his grandmother...
Dalton made up his mind to buy a birdfeeder for every room of the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in memory of his grandmother, who died two days before the facility opened. Using a $40 allowance as seed money, the Lake City Middle School sixth-grader raised $570 to purchase 17 birdfeeders. “I thought they would look good outside of every room,” he said.
