Every day is a gift. Every gift makes a difference. After traveling through this challenging journey with our caring staff and volunteers, many people ask what they can do to help Haven Hospice. Frequently, families and friends choose to give memorial gifts to honor their loved ones. Many families ask that charitable gifts be made to Haven Hospice “in lieu of flowers” or “in addition to flowers,” and we greatly appreciate their contributions and consideration. All of these charitable gifts remain in the community and are vital in helping Haven Hospice continue to provide the vast array of programs and services available to our patients and their families. Naming opportunities Haven Hospice operates four free-standing hospice care centers located throughout North Florida. Each of these care centers have been made possible through generous donations from local individuals, families and businesses. Many of these supporters have named rooms, gardens or even the facility itself in exchange for their gifts. There are still naming opportunities available at each of the care centers.

| In memory of his grandmother... Dalton made up his mind to buy a birdfeeder for every room of the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in memory of his grandmother, who died two days before the facility opened. Using a $40 allowance as seed money, the Lake City Middle School sixth-grader raised $570 to purchase 17 birdfeeders. “I thought they would look good outside of every room,” he said. |
