End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium
Haven Hospice is hosting the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) on September 19, 2014 at the Haven Hospice St. Augustine Office (2497 US Highway 1 South, St. Augustine). Registration and breakfast will be from 7:15 - 8:15 a.m. and the conference begins at 8:15 a.m. Participants must attend all modules in order to receive any CEUs. No partial credits will be given.
What is ELNEC?
End-of-life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) is a national education initiative to improve nursing education on end-of-life care. The project is administered by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and City of Hope National Medical Center. This core curriculum presents seven 60 minute content areas. Each topic includes specific information which covers ethical considerations inherent in the topic area.
Who Should Attend?
The following disciplines will receive 7 CEUs: ARNPs, RNs, LPNs, social workers, licensed mental health counselors, C.N.A.s, nursing home administrators, certified marriage and family counselors.
Physicians are welcome, but no CMEs will be awarded at this event.
Seating is limited, and registration is required for this complimentary conference. Registration includes breakfast, lunch and program materials.
Seven CE approved by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counselors for social workers, mental health therapists and mental health counselors; and approved by the Florida Board of Nursing for RNs, LPNs and ARNPs (CE provider #50-971).
