Gifts to Hospice of North Central Florida

For more than 27 years, Haven Hospice has provided for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients, families, and members of our communities who face life-limiting illnesses and loss. This high-quality supportive care is provided to all in need, regardless of their age, race, gender, sexual orientation or ability to pay. Gifts to Haven Hospice, big or small, will provide significant support for all our services and programs and will make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

What Programs Do Donations Support?

Donations to Haven Hospice are used to provide services not reimbursed by Medicaid, Medicare or private insurance. The services include non-reimbursed patient care for patients that do not have the ability to pay, the Healing Hearts grief support program, the Pegasus Program for children and young adults and Community Education programs. Your support helps make these special services and programs available. When making a gift to Hospice you may designate that it be used for any of these services. Memorial Walkway

As a walkway donor, you can honor a family member or friend by creating a permanent legacy. Bricks, granite pieces and benches along the walkways are available in various sizes and will be inscribed according to your wishes. Planned Giving

If you are unable to make substantial gifts during your lifetime, you may make major contributions through thoughtful, well-planned bequests such as a will or living trust. These will enable you to leave Haven Hospice a gift from your estate, after you have provided for your loved ones.

The charitable gift annuity provides another opportunity to support a worthy cause, receive an income for life that is partially tax free, and receive a significant tax deduction for your gift.

Permanent Recognition

The opportunity exists for lasting recognition of you, your business or your loved ones. When cumulative gifts are received totaling $1000 or more, your name will be inscribed on a glass plaque located in the main foyer of the E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville or in the donor recognition area of the future Hospice House in Palatka. Room naming opportunities at the future Hospice House are available for gifts of $25,000.00.

Hospice Attic Upscale Resale Stores

Hospice Attic Upscale Resale stores raise money for Hospice care. Shopping at and donating items to the Hospice Attic is a great way to support Hospice.

Special Events

Fundraising events offer individuals the unique opportunity to support Hospice while meeting others who share the same mission. Some individuals and organizations sponsor and/or host special events. Others prefer to support special events through their attendance.
