A recent performance survey using a national hospice measurement tool shows families give Haven Hospice a 100 percent when asked if they would refer others to the organization.
In this same survey, Haven Hospice exceeded state and national averages for providing patient and family care in four key areas, called domains. These domains include Coordination of Care, Attending to Family Needs, Informing and Communicating Patient Information and Providing Information about Symptoms.
In all, 37 Florida hospice programs and 1,054 national hospice programs participated in the Family Evaluation of Hospice Care (FEHC) Survey. The survey was conducted on behalf of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization by Deyta, Inc., a national specialist in performance assessment for health-care organizations.
