Honor someone you believe showed an outstanding example of volunteerism in Alachua County during 2013 by nominating them for an  E.T. York Work of Heart Award before March 17.

Rick Fabiani, a 2013 E.T. York Work of Heart Award winner, was recognized for working diligently since 2008 to bring the Fisher House Foundation to Gainesville.  The Gainesville Fisher House Foundation offers shelter and support to military service members during a medical crisis at no cost. As a result of his passion, the foundation housed more than 1,500 veterans and their families during his time as president.
