A Father’s Wish Comes True for Haven Hospice Patient
Orange Park, Florida (June 19, 2014) – For Rex Collins, a Haven Hospice patient, a wish to be included in two of the most important events of his daughter, Chelsea’s life came true when she wore her high school graduation cap and gown, and her wedding dress at the Custead Care Center recently.
When Chelsea graduated Bradford High School on June 6, her father was unable to attend. Before the graduation ceremony, Chelsea wore her graduation cap and gown to the Haven Hospice Custead Care Center so that Rex could see her in it. The Collins family arranged for Rex to watch the graduation ceremony from his room that evening via Skype. Rex also wanted to see how his daughter was going to look on her upcoming wedding day on June 21, so Chelsea wore her wedding dress to the Custead Care Center for him.
