Businesses Support Haven Hospice’s Purple Out
Local businesses joined Haven Hospice in raising awareness about end-of-life care during November, National Hospice and Palliative Care Month by wearing purple, the official color of Haven Hospice to their work places on Friday, November 14 and 21.
During National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, Haven Hospice seeks to amplify efforts to raise awareness for end-of-life care. One of the efforts is called Purple Out which is a day that Haven requests the community to wear purple.
