Haven Hospice Receives Sweet Support from Drummond Community Bank
Chiefland, Florida (Dec. 4, 2014) — The Drummond Community Bank raised $1,001 at the community bake sale on November 26 to support Haven Hospice.
Drummond Community Bank Vice President Ben Lott and Drummond Community Bank Customer Service Representative Tonya Corbett presented a donation check to the Haven Hospice Chiefland Administrator and Assistant Vice President of Operations DeAnna Beverly, MBA, MSN, RN, LHRM on December 3.
Bake goods were provided by community members who donated their sweet creations to the sale.
“It is such a warm feeling to see the baked goods be delivered from warm, smiling, caring hands that are showing up to support such a great cause,” said Lott. “You can tell their lives have been touched by the care and compassion of our Haven Hospice.”
All proceeds will benefit the unreimbursed programs and services provided by Haven Hospice to the patients and families in the Tri-Counties and surrounding areas.
“I cannot think of a better way to give back to our community,” said Corbett. “Seeing the community spirit during this bake sale is one of my favorite things.”
