Haven Hospice Attic Resale Store in Chiefland held a prom dress event on April 2 due to the generosity of the Tim Tebow Foundation who donated 200 dresses to the store. “We had lots of fun at the Attic event, sold 31 dresses that afternoon and raised $500 for Haven Hospice,” said Attic Resale Store Manager Malesa McCleery. The store also donated 16 dresses to Meridian Mental Health of Lake City and a charity fashion show to benefit children in Gainesville. Throughout the month of April, the remaining prom dresses have sold briskly, but there are still approximately 30 dresses left in the store as of May 1. “Many thanks to the Tim Tebow Foundation for being so generous and helping support Haven Hospice patients and families,” said McCleery.
