On April 17, Haven Hospice welcomed staff and Baker County residents to the grand opening and ribbon cutting of their new offices located in Macclenny at 28 West Macclenny Avenue. Haven has served Baker County since 2000, but this is the first physical location in the area which will provide office space for the Haven inter-disciplinary team and volunteers so that they may better serve patients and families.
"The chamber has worked with Haven Hospice for many years on local events and efforts, so Haven now having an office in Macclenny will be even better for the community,” said Baker County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Darryl Register who facilitated the ribbon cutting ceremony. Register told attendees that, “As Baker County grows, Haven will grow too. Both the chamber and the community will continue to welcome opportunities to work with Haven Hospice.”
