Over 200 guests celebrated with authentic Celtic music and dance at the Wayne G. Sanborn Activity Center on April 23 while raising over $5,000 for unreimbursed programs and services for Haven Hospice patients and families in Volusia County. 

The entertainment included Bagpiper Marion Bolton who opened and closed the event, a variety of Scottish songs presented by the Glasgow Girls lead by Joann Gilmartin, a special performance by Joann Gilmartin and Jemma Peterson, and a presentation of  various Celtic and Irish dances by the CDPA Scottish Highland Dancers led by Kathryn White Austin. Scottish Native and Master Ambassador for Laphroaig, Ardmore, Auchentoshan, Bowmore & Glen Garioch Single Malt Scotch Whiskies Simon Brooking presented a history of Scottish whiskies. Light hors d’oeuvres were served while guests tasted four whiskeys ranging from 10 to 18 years.
