Pam Saucier has been named Haven Hospice Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Until most recently, Saucier has served as vice president at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Massachusetts.
Saucier has extensive experience within the hospice industry having been with Alive Hospice in Nashville for 14 years from 1992 – 2004 and with Merrimack Valley Hospice from 2004 until joining Haven. Her past 22 years of hospice experience ranges from direct patient care to executive management and leadership.
Saucier is a registered nurse by training, having received her BSN from the Vanderbilt School of Nursing. In addition she has an MBA from Belmont University. She is actively involved on a number of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) committees, a member of the professional/technical advisory committee of the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Also, she had, until assuming her new role at Haven, served as president of the Massachusetts Federation of Hospice and Palliative Care.

Haven President Tim Bowen said bringing Saucier to the organization will enable it to continue to fulfill its mission of providing comfort, care and compassion to patients and families.
